cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth i can be thinking you'd come back here to the place that we'd meet and you'd see me waiting for you on the corner of the street
i never thought i'd actually be able to see them perform LIVE or that i'd actually be soooooooo close to them (3 metres IS PRETTY CLOSE OK!)
the guys were originally supposed to perform in stadium merdeka (!!!) but it was later changed to the indoor stadium putra in bukit jalil . . . (i knowwww, what were the organisers thinking!!! stadium putra is soooo not the place to have a band like Panic perform laaa . . . STADIUM MERDEKA was just RIGHT ... why change!!! WARGHHH)
yeah. so. anyway. i reached the stadium and headed over to the counter to collect both wye yee's and my tickets. we got the rock zone ones - free standing! . . . i still find it weird that they actually sell tickets for free seating . . . i mean like, erm, hello? this is Panic at the Disco we're talking about . . . it's a ROCK CONCERT . . . we STAND. JUMP. GO CRAZY. ACT BERSERK. we PANIC!!! . . . "seating" does not exist in our vocabulary lah . . .
and after that i met up with wye yee a.k.a. lizzie a.k.a. bryar's babe a.k.a. BIRTHDAY BUDDY NO. 1 xD and wye yee's friend, jon! (whom, she actually told me earlier before, to be a tall, dark guy with specs . . . wye yee, he totally fits your description hahaha) . . . and finally, we met up with syafiq! (friend from primary school) ... omg, the last time i saw him was like, SIX YEARS AGO OKAY O_O. . . i find that it's actually tons of fun meeting an old friend whom you've never seen for like eons . . . it's really ... interesting, i guess x)................sidenote: syafiq has a really awesome haircut, much like brendon's HAHA!
okay. yah. so. we entered the stadium and the first thing we see, right in front of us is this stall selling the *OMG* *SQUEALS* BAND MERCHANDISE!!!! they had t-shirts (RM 80) and posters (RM 20) and . . . *OMG* HOODIES!!! to buy or not to buy was not the question. i was surely, definitely gonna get something. it was just either the t-shirt or the hoodie . . . but after much persuasion from the wye yee and the jon (they each bought this really cool purple T!) and seeing that it was just the right size for me, the hoody it was! x) . . . (yesyes, a hundred and seventy ringgit, very expensive but what the heck lah xD, it isn't everyday that you get to buy your favourite band's merchandise OK! heh) . . . PLUS, the thing that pushed me to get it even more was when the lady mentioned "LAST PIECE" . . . it never fails to get to me :P
note to self: thou shalt go hungry for the next few months. u_u
and now . . . PICTURES!!! (if it's not clear, then it's taken with my phone)
Soundcheck x)
Check out the backdrop . . . it's the cover of their second album :P
Panic performing I Have Friends in Holy Spaces, followed by, LYING IS THE MOST FUN A GIRL CAN HAVE WITHOUT TAKING HER CLOTHES OFF! x)
OH! OH! At 1.14, you listen carefully . . . Brendon says: "If the people of Malaysia will sing with me . . . " hehehe :D :D :D
"Spencer, drumsticks pls!"
Oh and you know what . . . they really threw his drumsticks into the crowd *_*
Damn.
Work it, Ryan! Wye Yee had a *moment* with him :P
My love : ) a.k.a. Birthday Buddy No. 2 heh
The voice . . . omg, the voice . . . aaahhh *swoons*
Spencer has the awesomest drum set ever . . . and if you think that's cool, wait till you listen to the way he plays them
Jon!!!! I like this pic ... he looks so cool here
Brendon went solo for TIME TO DANCE!!!!
SEATING should not be an option . . . need i say more?
i'm not apologising for my lack of updates. you can't make me. pfft.
yeahsoanyway, contrary to what many may think,
pengajian am periods are NOT the longest. weirdly enough. no, really. with salahuddin, two periods of p.a. go by like *that* cikgu salahuddin power.
my streamyx power.
heh, yah, cause everyone's been asking whether their streamyx was down two days ago ... mine was aliveandkickin'babeh HAH! x)
school days have also been passing by like really really fast.
in the last few weeks, - i dugged my own grave........................by joining the VEB *_* - i have come to terms with the fact that maybe the school i'm in may not be as bad after all *crosses fingers* - i found that i was sorted into the House that always comes first . . . from the back. bloody -.- . . . yeah, i was sorted into Rumah Shaw and everyone's been telling me, "oh, i know why you got into Shaw!" . . . i was supposed to be in THAMBOOSAMY (the green house) . . . eh, i have ALWAYS been a GREEN person wan lo . . . from Standard One all the way till Form Five, i was always in the GREEN House . . . WHYYYYYYYYY (Thamboo has been on a winning streak for the past couple of years by the way :P...yes, no wonder.) Charmaine: Eh, then you can be the House mascot! *_* - i learned that, being a frequent latecomer back in SBU and everywhere else i go, i should carry on being always late . . . unfortunately for me, i had to learn that the hard way. literally, the HARD way OK. as a member of the VEB, we have to always arrive in school before 7.20am and time in in this special time in/time out book lah so it was like around 7.17 already lah that time and i was panicking like crap sososo, when i got out of my dad's car, i slammed the damned door on my fingers OK!!! OMGPAINFULLIKEHELLITELLYOU . . . i didn't cry though . . . i know, so brave of me kan xD . . . must be something to do with the fact that i'm in a boys' school, so like, "under a huge magnifying glass", "little black dot on a big whiteboard" and all that other corny phrases they come up with to describe the girls in a boys' school ... i dunno lah, if something like that happened in SBU, i would've been bawling my eyes out and screaming my lungs out already . . . but then again, something like that wouldn't even have happened in SBU in the first place . . . cause i'm late ALL THE TIME, it didn't matter anymore . . . plus, it's not like they actually do anything about your being late . . . i have a total 8 or 9 of those slips for coming late to school and apparently, if you have 5, they'll expel you or something but . . . nope, no expulsion :P . . . no blacklisting whatsoever . . . graduated with a nice clean record : ) mwahah.
SHYEAH, so pretty much like that lah.
next agenda: join the archery club! i shall give legolas a run for his money or should i say, bow and arrows. AHAHAH. yer, omgwtfsolame, wonder where that came from . . . blame it on FORM SIX!!! RRRRRR
